PlayStation Plus Update: Dynamic Pricing Experiment and New Game Releases
Sony is currently testing dynamic A/B pricing on the PlayStation Store, impacting over 150 games across 68 territories. This pricing experiment, which began in November 2025, aims to assess consumer response to varying price points for digital games.
Notably, Japan and the US are excluded from this experiment due to stricter regulations governing pricing practices. The results of this initiative could significantly influence how digital games are priced in the future.
In addition to the pricing changes, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to new game downloads starting March 3, 2026. Among the titles available is PGA Tour 2K25, which features three Major Championships for the first time, marking a significant addition to the franchise.
Other games included in the March offerings are Monster Hunter Rise, available for both PS5 and PS4, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Golden Road, along with Slime Rancher 2. These titles will be available for download until April 6, 2026.
This update comes as Sony has reportedly decided to pull back from releasing PlayStation 5 exclusives on PC, focusing instead on enhancing the PlayStation ecosystem for its console users.
