EE has launched a series of free AI training sessions in collaboration with Samsung, aimed at enhancing public confidence in using artificial intelligence tools. The initiative comes in response to research indicating that only 28% of people feel confident in their ability to utilize AI in their daily lives.
The training sessions will take place daily at the EE Studio located in Westfield White City, running until 5th April. Each session lasts 20 minutes and can accommodate up to eight participants, providing personalized guidance on how to effectively use the Galaxy AI tools for various applications such as photography, note-taking, translation, and online searching.
Participants will also receive a £100 voucher for tech purchases of £150 or more from EE, incentivizing attendance and encouraging the adoption of new technologies. The sessions are scheduled at specific times: 11am, 1pm, and 4pm Monday to Saturday, and 1pm and 4pm on Sundays.
Asif Aziz, a representative from EE, noted, “For many of us, AI has already earned a place on the home screen and is being used every day, while others have yet to try it out.” This sentiment reflects the growing integration of AI into everyday life, yet highlights the gap in user confidence that the training sessions aim to bridge.
Annika Bizon, a Samsung specialist, emphasized the potential of AI, stating, “AI has a huge potential to enhance our everyday lives, but without guidance, it’s easy to miss out on its full potential.” This underscores the importance of educational initiatives like these in maximizing the benefits of technology.
The sessions will be delivered by Samsung specialists, ensuring that participants receive expert advice on how to leverage the capabilities of the Galaxy AI platform on Samsung devices. Attendees will learn how to enhance their photos and create unique greeting cards using the AI tools, further demonstrating the practical applications of the technology.
This initiative is part of EE’s broader strategy to help customers derive more value from connected technology, addressing the confidence gap in AI usage. The training sessions are open to everyone, reflecting EE’s commitment to inclusivity in technology education.
As the sessions progress, it remains to be seen how effective they will be in boosting confidence levels among participants and whether similar initiatives will be rolled out in other locations. Details remain unconfirmed.
