JB Gill and Chloe Decide Not to Renew Wedding Vows After Ten Years

JB Gill, known for his time with the pop group JLS, and his wife Chloe, have recently announced that they will not be renewing their wedding vows after ten years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 on the Scottish Island of Bute, have two children together: a son named Ace and a daughter named Chiara.

JB and Chloe first met when she performed with JLS, and they began dating for four years before getting married. Reflecting on their wedding, JB described it as “the best day of my life.” However, as they approach their tenth anniversary, they have decided that renewing their vows does not feel right at this stage in their lives.

In a recent statement, JB remarked, “It was really weird because we always said 10 years. And listen, we’d have loved to have done it just to say that we did it, but it just didn’t quite feel right.” He emphasized the challenges of their busy lives, stating, “We’re in the busy part of life, the kids are taking a lot of the focus and there’s not a lot of spare time.”

JB Gill, now 39 years old, has been balancing his family responsibilities with his career, which includes co-hosting The One Show with Alex Jones and participating in reality television shows like Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Apprentice. In the 2024 series of Strictly, he partnered with dancer Amy Dowden before her injury.

Looking ahead, JB expressed that perhaps in the future, when their children are more independent, they might consider taking time for themselves as a couple. He stated, “I think at that stage when they’re sort of a lot more independent and doing their own thing, maybe at uni or at work, got their own house or whatever, then that’ll be the time to sort of get together and have some time for ourselves.”

As JB and Chloe continue to navigate their family life, their decision not to renew their vows highlights the importance of prioritizing their children and personal well-being over traditional expectations.
