Disneyland Paris has officially opened the World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the park’s transformation.
The new area features attractions such as Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly ride, and A Celebration in Arendelle, a show starring Olaf with original music. The opening ceremony included performances and appearances by Disney executives and beloved characters.
Disney Adventure World is the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris, which now includes two parks following a substantial investment of approximately $2 billion. This transformation aims to enhance the guest experience and expand the park’s offerings.
One of the highlights of the new park is the Disney Cascade of Lights, a nighttime spectacular at Adventure Bay that integrates an innovative aquatic drone system. The show features a ballet of more than 380 drones and includes synchronized mobile fountains with water jets reaching heights of 18 feet.
Josh D’Amaro, a Disney executive, noted, “Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen,” emphasizing the franchise’s impact. The global box office earnings of Frozen and its sequel have reached an impressive $2.7 billion, showcasing the franchise’s popularity.
In addition to the attractions, guests can enjoy dining options such as the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. Another new family attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin, is inspired by the beloved film Tangled.
Disneyland Paris has granted over 25,000 wishes since its opening in 1992, reflecting its commitment to creating magical experiences for families. Thomas Mazloum, a Disney executive, stated, “We continue to expand Disneyland Paris with ambition and purpose,” highlighting the ongoing developments at the park.
Natacha Rafalski, another Disney executive, remarked, “With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we’re opening the door to a new era.” This sentiment captures the excitement surrounding the park’s transformation.
