Louis Theroux to Host Live Events
Louis Theroux, the acclaimed documentary filmmaker, will hold a live event titled “An Evening with Louis Theroux” in Dundee on May 21, 2026. This event is part of a series that also includes a performance in Edinburgh on May 22, 2026. Tickets for the Dundee event are currently on sale, while those for Edinburgh will be available starting at 11 am on Wednesday.
Theroux, who has won three BAFTAs and an RTS award, is known for his in-depth explorations of complex social issues and unusual communities. His latest documentary focused on Israeli settlers in the West Bank, further showcasing his commitment to addressing challenging topics.
Having started his television career in the mid-1990s after graduating from Oxford, Theroux has become a prominent figure in documentary filmmaking. He gained recognition for creating the BAFTA-winning series “Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends” and “When Louis Met…”. His work often combines humor with serious inquiry, making his storytelling style unique.
