This initiative comes as the UK experiences a surge in popularity for pickles, with the hashtag #pickles amassing billions of views on TikTok. James Channon from KFC noted, “The UK is currently in the grip of full-size pickle-mania, and on TikTok #pickles has racked up billions of views.”

The Pickle Puffer jacket, which includes a built-in straw for sipping pickle juice, was inspired by a viral AI-generated joke, reflecting the playful nature of the current food trend.

KFC’s Pickle Menu items are priced as follows: the Pickle Meal at £8.99, the Pickle Box Meal at £10.99, Frickles at £2.49, and Pickle Loaded Fries at £3.99. These offerings are part of KFC’s broader strategy to engage customers with unique and trending food experiences.
