Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey, has a rich history in music, including recording two Carl Perkins songs with The Beatles. He mentioned, “I recorded two Carl Perkins songs with The Beatles, and both T Bone and I wanted one on this record.”
The album was recorded in both Nashville and Los Angeles, further highlighting Starr’s commitment to blending different musical influences. At 85 years old, he continues to inspire generations of musicians and fans.
