Manchester United are reportedly working to secure the long-term future of teenage striker JJ Gabriel, who is attracting significant interest from clubs including Chelsea. Gabriel, born in London, has garnered considerable attention, making history as the youngest player to feature for Manchester United’s Under-18 side at the age of 14 in early 2025. Later that year, after turning 15 in October, he was given squad number 95 and trained with the first team. He was also named Under-18 Premier League Player of the Season.
More recently, Gabriel became the youngest player to represent the club, coming off the bench during a pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid in Stockholm. He was 15 years and 299 days old when he made this appearance on August 1. He was also part of the squad for a match against Leeds United, though he did not play in that fixture.

The next formal step for Gabriel is to sign scholarship terms, which he becomes eligible for in October when he turns 16.
