Production on the new Tomb Raider series has been halted following an injury sustained by actress Sophie Turner. This development comes as Turner, who is set to portray Lara Croft, discovered a back problem while training for the role last year.
Turner had been undergoing an intensive training regimen, reportedly dedicating eight hours a day for five days a week since February of last year. Despite the rigorous preparation, she has aggravated a pre-existing back injury, prompting a pause in filming.
