Rachel Kerr, a 31-year-old British travel influencer, was reported missing in Morocco after checking out of her hotel. She was last seen leaving the SMART Nightclub in Agadir around 5am on April 25. Her phone was turned off after leaving the resort, and she had not been heard from since.
Rachel’s family expressed extreme concern for her welfare as they could not reach her. Claire Hill, her cousin, posted on Facebook about her being missing and appealed for information.
Fortunately, Rachel Kerr has been found safe and is in the care of her family. Claire Hill confirmed this development, stating, “Rachel has now been traced and is safe in the care of family. Thank you to those who provided information and support.” Peter Kerr also expressed gratitude for the help received.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is supporting Rachel’s family during this time. Rachel was in Morocco for a work trip and had been staying at the Caribbean Village hotel prior to her disappearance.
The exact circumstances of Rachel’s disappearance are unclear. Officials have not provided further details about how she went missing or how she was located.
